Anika Sharma
Chief Design Officer,
London
Anika Sharma leads design at Corvid, the research and writing workspace used by around nine thousand teams. She joined when the design team was four people and has grown it to eighty, organised around product areas rather than disciplines, with a weekly critique that every shipped feature passes through.
Before Corvid she spent seven years in public service design, rebuilding benefit application forms that millions of people fill in under pressure. She still believes the plainest form on a page is the hardest one to design. She lives in Walthamstow and spends her weekends restoring a 1960s letterpress.
