Everyone, everywhere
Code of conduct
Summit is for everyone who builds software. This is how we expect people to treat each other, and what we do when they do not.
Last updated 1 October 2026
The short version
Be kind, be curious and give people room. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated.
That holds at the venue, at the reception, online and anywhere connected to the event, for attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and organisers alike.
01
What we expect
Listen as much as you talk, and let people finish.
Ask before you photograph someone up close, and respect the grey lanyards.
Disagree with ideas, not with people. Questions after a talk are questions, not speeches.
Keep sponsor conversations at the stands, not in the queue for lunch.
02
What is not acceptable
Offensive comments about gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or nationality; sexual images in talks or at stands; intimidation, stalking or unwanted photography; sustained disruption of talks; and unwelcome physical contact or attention.
03
How to report
Two trained organisers, Beatriz and Mateo, handle every report, and we will tell you what we did about it.
In person
Find anyone in an orange lanyard. They are trained to help and can find a quiet room.
Safety line
Call or message +351 21 000 0000, both days from 08:00 to 23:00.

What happens next
We act quickly. Depending on what happened, that ranges from a warning to removal from the event without a refund, and a ban from future editions. Speakers and sponsors are held to the same standard, on stage and off.
